Asda as well as the Food Standards Agency (FSA) has issued a food recall on popular crisps sold at the supermarket. A food recall is put in place when there is a discovery of safety issues or product details that might endanger the consumer.
PepsiCo is recalling its Smith's Snaps Spicy Tomato 8x13g multipack bags of crisps.
This is because some of the batches may be under-cooked and the crisp is noticeably harder than usual.
This means the product may present a choking hazard and is therefore unsafe to eat.
Customers should look for the faulty batch if they have recently bought the crisps.

While the crisps are sold at many supermarkets, at the time of writing, Asda is the only retailer to have issued a food recall warning.

I'd have thought that undercooking a thin slice of potato would leave it softer rather than harder? Crisps are a 'choking hazard' anyway as most foods can be!!
Thanks for warning @Happygirl
