A lovely few days away

We had a lovely time with our daughter Tracy on the Isle of Wight last week. We stayed at the Premier Inn at Sandown just a short distance from Tracy's flat and a lovely view from our room looking out to the beach.
This was around 7am.
I will add more tomorrow.
@Janet 💋🍰🍝🍹 it all looks beautiful, I may go there one day. My son lives there (by my first marriage) but hubby doesn't really like me having contact with my earlier son's and their families and I feel I would be disloyal if I saw them, still, you never know, I may just rebel one day.
On our last day we went the Donkey sanctuary. Dennis loves going there. They were all working donkeys and now they can run free. They love love being petted and talked to.
Here are a few more photos. This time we took a ride on the Steam railway and had a carriage to ourselves. Some photos on the train, at a station we stopped at and a little about the railway.

The following day Tracy took us to Osborn House, Queen Victoria's House. So beautiful and ornate.

This is where they had the banquets for visiting guests. All the seating was very low as the queen was short in height.

A good job there were plenty of seats around.... 😉
