First thing this morning, as I drew back the lounge curtains, I noticed a large pebble on top of our front garden wall. It was about 4'' round and about an inch thick so heavy. It must, of course, have been placed there by someone overnight. Apart from being very inviting to any local 'ne'r do well' to throw, it occurred to me that it might be some sort of message system to those in the know! In any case, out I went to remove it. It then got even weirder - scrawled on it in black permanent marker were the words 'never alone'! It's the strangest thing - anyone got any ideas what it might be about? Is it supposed to be some strange reassurance in these 'lockdown' times and recipients are supposed to 'pass it on'? If so, it singularly failed here as we think it's a bit 'spooky'!!
