Just come indoors after sitting on our balcony in tee shirt and shorts for the last hour or so!! The late afternoon/evening sun has been wonderful! Patio door still open to release smells of cauliflower cheese being cooked by swmbo - well, I helped by chopping up the bacon! Lounge temperature still 22 C! No wonder we are called 'The Sunshine Coast'!! Roof down on the car this morning as well when shopping at Lidl - even though only in a tee shirt, had to turn the heated seats, air scarf and heating off as I got too hot!! Happy days!

Yes, it was still nice and warm, we're not putting heating on yet. I'm doing cauliflower cheese to, either today or tomorrow, yum yum.
Sounds lovely @harryflatters We did have a lovely sunny day yesterday but sooo cold here. Our heating kicked in at 6.30am for an hour just to warm the bathroom. Then I put it on an hour before bedtime until 10pm. I have had a long sleeved jumper on today, which is very unusual for me as I am usually too hot.
Good for you @harryflatters , life sounds great there and i love cauliflower cheese too
Where I am here in Birmingham, the heating came out of its slumber at 4.30 am to restore the lounge to its room temperature of 22 C! It was very cold outside this morning when John left for work at 5.30 am. He walks about 4.5 miles to work each morning and back home after his day's work. He hates the bus journey and the dirty buses. On a bad day, he uses a taxi. We have not felt the impact of the so-called crisis yet. In my opinion, I think the scaremongers are out in full force but I am so glad not to have a mortgage around my neck anymore. When it was hot here, I spend hours, late afternoons, sitting on the bench reading my kindle, dangling my feet in a large bowl of cold water. @harryfatters.
