@roz Oh bless you, thank you, I just thought of you when I read it, how are they doing, do they stay in when it gets cold in the winter?

@Happygirl the chickens are doing well considering their age, they are a bit over 4 years old now and have just gone through the moult so looking a bit tatty, growing new feathers. We get maybe a couple of eggs a week from the four of them, I don't mind, they are in retirement now.

I will still open the door after lunch t to let them out into the back of the garden unless it's really bad weather. They are usually in and out all afternoon.

Yesterday I made them up a little dust bath to keep them happy over winter and stop them digging in the mud hopefully.

They won't go near it yet but I'm sure they will be queuing up for it when they get used to it.

@roz Oh they look adorable, all cuddly ha ha. I didn't know they liked dust baths, I think Chinchillas like that too, had a friend who used to breed them.

I bet they didn't like the fire works last night, there were quite a lot where we live here for a change and I was a bit wary for the poor squirrels up in the trees last night.

@Happygirl Absolutely you need to make an official complaint if the care has not been given professionally and correctly.

@roz Thank you, the Director has phoned us up twice so far BUT was supposed to phone us yesterday with his conclusion and he never did, we shall give him until Thursday night and then I will fire off another email to him, strange though as he wont put anything in writing he telephones us.

Who do we go to next do you know please to complain, some one said something about THE ROYAL COLLEGE OF VETERINARY SURGEONS, but is there anything else we can do please, any advice would be greatly appreciated

My dear @Happygirl I am so sorry to read about your sad news but now little Skippy will be having a happy life over the Rainbow Bridge with all the other much missed little friends we have had in our life and who knows we may all meet them again in some distant future. I am thinking of you and your hubby and little Skippy xx

@Happygirl - Behaving? You must be kidding. My little Tilly puss has moved into the greenhouse at the back of the garden and only comes in to have a drink and her food. Patty hides in her cosy corner with her paws of her ears, quite comical. I had to write a letter of complaint to the council.

Sunday, which is in general a no noise day when it comes to the building trade. They had the keys last Thursday evening and the destruction started Sunday lunchtime and lasted until 5 pm. On Monday is was quiet but Tuesday the heavy masonry drill and lump hammer were in action all day from 10 am until 7 pm and Wednesday with an earlier start the incessant noise lasted from 8 am until 9 pm with no warning or apologies. They ripped everything out including all fittings including the tiles, bath, basins and toilet. I wrote a letter of complaint to council after reading up about rules & regulations right down to the give and take between neighbours and DIY projects. Gutting the interior by amateurs I think don't count. I even had very fine dust settling on the surfaces in Kitchen and Bath/Shower room. The interior of the house is dumped on the front lawn and a skip. The interior was a little gem, clean and beautiful maintained. I reckon the front garden is the project for destruction.

@renatew5😺🐶 Oh Renate, that is NOT GOOD at all, have you heard back from the council, did you telephone them too ?

My head would be splitting by lunch time, never mind 9 pm !

No consideration for others see. Bit like our next door, they have that surround sound with speakers every where and it is right next to my bedroom, it is never ending but i dare not say anything as they are the type to do it even more, so i know what a continuous thud thud thud is like although yours is much worse.

I don't know what to suggest to do next, do you know any beefy looking fellas that could go round and have a word ha ha.

It is not fair on the animals either, i think i would have had a row by now with them as i can put up with things just about for myself but where my animals babies are concerned then i think i would have flipped.

@Happygirl I have had an e-mail from the council but reading between the lines I do not stand much of a chance unless I take recordings of the noise levels or gentle persuasion. These people are the type that sees us white people in their religious thinking as white trash and treat us with the contempt, we do not deserve. I can live with that and totally ignore them but my son John, the older of the two, who lives with me, is another matter he hates them with a passion.

When I last called up to one of them while he was throwing some stuff out of the top window (late Wednesday afternoon)and ask him if could give us an hours break, another voice from inside said - tell her to f***k off. They are not professional builders just family mates or friends. I don't think that a primary school teacher or nurse would use such language as a good Moslem respects his elders. My son was ready to go next door and thump him. He is quite brawny by the way and 6ft 2in tall.

@Janet 💋🍰🍝🍹 Thank you Janet, he is in no pain at the moment and is now eating since they gave him that pill, just a wait and see now, to see if the lab report comes back with cancer or not

I am so worried it is THAT food intolerance that they banned that ' hills food ' then found out that it was not that, but yet, it is some sort of food intolerance that is causing it @Pinkaholic79 💖🦄🌺 , as they still do not know what it is that has been killing of all of these cats and our one is a house cat, my husband has so much on his plate and i am scared this is going to push him pinky over the top, i will say no more on here but will phone you some time over the next few days if that is okay, you have been such a good friend to me.

It was approx £110.00 for the blood test and that was just a standard one @Pinkaholic79 💖🦄🌺
