New Covid jab

Not great, but not bad. Emma, my daughter, came down with it first. She'd been to Lancaster for a music festival on the Saturday and started feeling unwell about 4 days later, testing positive on the Friday. I started feeling achy, especially my legs, a couple of days later and tested positive on the Tuesday. I just wanted to sleep and everything hurt. The worst was my throat....it was like swallowing shards of glass; by far the worst bas throat I've had. Steve (husband) tested positive a couple of days later. For him it was like having a bad head cold and not a lot of energy. Emma got better after about 10 days, then me, then Steve.

I've no doubt being up to date with covid jabs helped enormously to help ease the symptoms. I wouldn't want it again though!

Sorry to hear that you, husband and daughter all had it @MANDY It sounds as if it was really nasty although I am sure you are right when you say the vaccinations helped to keep it down - can't imagine what it might have been like if you hadn't had them!!

Same here @harryflatters hubby isn't quite old enough either.

We went to Lidl last night and they still had the sanitiser station. We're always late with everything up north.

Actually, @roz I might be wrong about the sanitisers! When I went into Polegate Lidl this morning, it was in the outer entrance lobby! It used to be inside the actual store so I think I might have just walked past it yesterday without noticing it!! Observant as usual!!!

Mostly we are more focused what we are going to purchase than our surroundings @harryflatters @roz 😉 I've done it too!
