YOU CAN JUST SEE THE BACK GARDEN BEHIND THE SHED FILLING UP TOO

We had a sudden downpour on Monday evening, lasted a few minutes, it was lovely and cool, then the sun popped out again and it became very muggy @Happygirl
One minute it is too hot and then it is too wet, we are a nation of moaners i reckon ha ha ha
Most people notice screen flicker at about 24 frames per second, so choosing 30 fps at the lower end is a good start.
480p is OK on a standard TV/Monitor (720p is better) when scaled up to the maximum resolution of the monitor. Less than 480p makes the image blurry.
Choosing mp4, rather than raw, as the compression setting loses very little.
Each of these will reduce the file size (and you cannot get it down to a single bit/byte)!
@Tanith thank you for this information, now I just have to remember to change settings if I ever want to add video on here.
The easiest way to make the file size smaller is to reduce the frame size. I notice that you are recording at 30 frames per second (good), but at 1080p (1920 by 1080).
If you were to change it to 720p (1280 by 720) or 480p (852 by 480) the file size would be reduced.
720p is about 0.44 the size of 1080p; so your 12Mb file would be 5.3Mb
480p is about 0.20 the size of 1080p' so your 12Mb file would be 2.4Mb
It is a trade off between screen size and duration. We can always make the screen bigger by double clicking the file.
The 6s introduction (Of the 22s file) heading could be reduced as well. For example 1.3 seconds (1s is too short and 2s is probably too long).
Hope it helps.
We didn't get any thunder and lightning, just rain. Can someone send it over here please ๐ .
Certainly did - it was lovely sat in the conservatory with a glass of wine and realising that my aching bones were because of the rain and not down to the alcohol consumption. That is my theory and I'm sticking to it :)
Hi @Happygirl and the rest of the gang.
We certainly had that here, Botley/Hedge End. I don't mind - at least my water butts are full again so the tomatoes, chilli and herbs can be refreshed in the (supposed) forthcoming heatwave.
VIDEO.......Have shortened it so will try again, trouble is you don't really get the vibe as it is so short now. Sorry about that.

I jumped out of my skin when it thundered, I have made a video too but WANNA CHAT site says we can now only upload upto 50mb so i am very sorry it won't show it.
