Lovely cards @Happygirl and @Pinkaholic79 💖🦄🌺 Now why can't my children be like yours.... My son had looked back at some photos to add into the card... well, he went back three years ago to when they were staying here for Christmas. One of Eirwen's presents was a Beeny hat with Minion goggles and a smiley mouth attached to it. We all had a photo taken wearing it and this is what I looked at while having my breakfast this morning. When I opened the envelope I thought "I recognise that old girl" - well I nearly spat my breakfast out as couldn't stop laughing 🤣 Then I opened my daughters one and had another laugh. Children can be so cruel at times 😍

When our son Michael was little, if he got me a card or small present for mothers' day John would go on and on about what a rip off everything was and why they had mothers day and not father's day (nobody celebrated father's day then)

I'm always a bit fearful when John starts going on and like to keep the peace so when it was nearing mothers day I made a point of telling the kids beforehand that I didn't want them to get me anything and I didn't celebrate mothers day. It was a big fat lie and they still think I don't celebrate mothers day so I won't be getting any cards. The irony is that When it comes to father's day John now get cards and maybe a present but it's my own fault for telling fibs to the kids in the first place.

I told my son not to send flowers this year as I think it is a rip off what you get online and so he got me this BEAUTIFUL popup card with a little money...I LOVE YOU MY SON ♥
