Has anyone else taken down and packed away the decorations yet? I did all mine this morning as had enough of them. All clean and tidy again now and not sure if they will be out again this year as we will be on our own as the family will be at their own homes this time.

Jonathan went home yesterday and has gone back to work today. We've been taking down our Christmas decorations this morning so it's all a bit 'sad' looking now!!! Still, the sun is shining and the tide is coming in, filling the outer harbour so life is not too bad really!! We had three seals on the sandbank first thing this morning so that was nice to see.
Who knows how many more are doing it [@Happygirl] @Janet ๐๐ฐ๐๐น, wonder if she had tested positive, or just said it and only has a cold.
That was lucky you shouted @roz ,tho what was she doing out n about with covid? Surely walking the dog is no excuse.
I have only used the bus twice over the last two years, once to get to the dentist and the second time in August to collect my best watch from the jeweller were it was cleaned and serviced. The buses around here are filthy most of the time and very uninviting. I have not had the booster (third jab) either, the places offered entail a long bus ride on more than one bus and I refuse taxies with Asian drivers and I don't give a damn if it sounds racist. Also, I can't stand for long, the arthritis won't let me, so queuing is out of the question. So, I am really in permanent self isolation and only go out once a week to Lidl for the weekly groceries, always masked and gloved.
Those flow tests are like gold-dust and very hard to get hold off. So far our bubble of three is clear.
I started last night with the little ยฃ5 potted tree from Lidl. It lost none of its needles because I misted and watered it every other day. At present it is resting in the greenhouse, after re-potting it will go outside and perhaps it will last. I shall start today and hopefully all will be back to normal with room to move about by tomorrow. The last to be removed are the lights from the trees in the garden, on Twelfth Night (6 January). @Janet ๐๐ฐ๐๐น @roz @Happygirl @Pinkaholic79 ๐๐ฆ๐บ
Didn't have any to take down. When we used to have Christmas decorations we took them down on 5th. Never sure if twelfth night is on the 5th or 6th.
Yup, started yesterday, as pretty as it looks, for us Christmas is over after boxing day @Janet ๐๐ฐ๐๐น we start 1st December, so their up for one month.
