Have just done up a massive box of Easter goodies for my son and his wife with birthday gifts included for some of the family too, Hubby taking it tomorrow to be weighed properly but i made it just over 3 KG, the purse shall be empty ha ha haaaaaa

I've gone off chocolate at the moment - except for dark chocolate. Must be a Long Covid thing.

It's basically a hollow (small) Easter egg filled with a white chocolate & coconut cream mixture with a dollop of lemon curd - It looks good, but the taste? If I get the time I may have a go.
If you don't mind chocolate that is past its "Best Before" date, Approved Food have a 2.432 kg box of Celebrations for ยฃ10. (Best before 18th October 2020 - The ones best before 21 April 2021 are ยฃ18).
I have bought things from Approved Foods before, and have never had a problem, even though many of the foodstuffs are after the 'Best Before' date. They do not sell anything past its "Use By" date. (You can filter out goods that are past the "Best Before" date)

I wonder when there will be 'reduced' and 'special 2 for 1' offers. I wish that these types of products would only be sold, perhaps, two weeks before the date. BBQ, swimwear and Autumn fashions due to hit the shops soon!
I just find it starts to early, I know we need cheering up, but surely there are other ways. Encourages spending more. Yuk to Cadbury creme eggs. Hubby loves them! My fav is lindt

@Happygirl Boxing Day usually has Easter Eggs in supermarkets. I love the Cadbury mini eggs, and hubby loves creme eggs. At least not going to shops means we won't be tempted.๐

Yes @Happygirl not sure why shoppers were astonished, as you say, it always happens. Love those creams eggs.
It always happens like that, I think a little bit of chocolate could brighten this world up at this moment in time.
