I had an e-mail last night just as I was closing down. All written in Dutch and the only recognisable word among other info was the Covid test. Just deleted it and closed it down.
This morning, however, about 15 minutes ago checking my e-mails, there was another one. This time in Dutch including a number and underneath the message was repeated in English including a patient number for a so-called covid test result which I could have within 15 minutes via the internet. First I have never had a test, second, the patient number was all wrong and thirdly there was no form of identifying letterhead. Then again, I did not open the e-mail fully, only curious fools would be tempted. BEWARE!!
Assume (well actually you should never assume) that everything you get is a scam. You will never win anything, nothing is awaiting delivery, no tax refunds. NEVER click on a link. Your computer and its software are always working. Your internet link is working fine.
If you believe that you have won something then go directly to that site and enter your details (e-mail from a company trying to deliver will have a TRACKING number, go to the site and enter the number. DO NOT click on the link with the number in it).
You have been warned.
