Back again.....

Just checking in to see if we're all still here..... Has anyone joined/died/emigrated? I'm still in DDD (work it out!) and enjoying it mostly. Don't do village stuff, ignoring Christmas, although we have to visit A SON of Chris, which fills me with boredom. Having spent more of my life along and with very few Christmases with anyone at all, I'm not looking forward to it, especially as Children are involved. Trying to think myself into a friendly state of mind and just hope it goes away. The estranged mother of the hostess has died today, so that's livened things up a bit. The ex-hsband will be there, so hopefully lots of unpleasantness will ensue.

Been to Italy and Spain. If no-one has "done" Northern Spain, I urge you to do so. No tourists, empty, fabulous roads, squares, cathedrals, glass balconies (a Coruna), mad people doing the Camino de Compostela - why did their god invent cars? Stuck up a mountain - I did all 1500 miles driving - with nowhere to turn, reverse or forward, so had a panic attack, which fixed it. I think Chris managed to edge out and get me out (sheer drop on my side) and drive up to wherever....awful. Now he wants to do the South - in Winter/Spring and go to Ronda, which has that awful bridge. Have refused to go on it, but I gather there is an alternative route.

Gave a kidney Feb 22 and ok now. Somebody Oop Norf has it. Bloody hope they appreciate it! Now the blood suckers, whose idea it was, keep nagging for me to keep giving blood - I am - and sent me a stupid card at 75 pints, which I have complained about on Twitter. Waste of money.
