@Pinkaholic79 💖🦄🌺 Oh bless him, I broke one of my toes again 3 days ago, just not thinking where i am walking and it was in the day time, i have one of those 'perching chairs' for the kitchen, from social services to help me perch when i am in the kitchen cutting vegetables up but the legs kind of stick out at an angle and i was not wearing my slippers so bang and crunch. Tell Dinky, we are thinking of him and he is very very brave indeed

Take a screenshot of the facebook pages and monitor them. Any commentary of the case MAY bring about issues for a further court case. If you are approached by father or son, call the police is will constitute harassment.

Just not allowed in UK courts except under very particular circumstances such as undercover security service personnel. Even then they must appear in court and be ready to answer questions. In this case the individual would be instantly identified.

@Happygirl I am always surprised that people do not readily request 999 cals in a court case. Any and all video evidence should be sequested by the police, and it is now their evidence.

Well done for turning up. It is difficult, but now there will be no stopping you. It might be worth telling the neighbour what happened; you turned up he pleaded guilty. Do not crow, but just the facts. Tell the neighbour that if anything like that happens again you will want video evidence, but be perfectly willing to attend court (and enjoy your moment of fame).

@Flossy 🧁🧁 Pleading guilty 'at the earliest opportunity' automatically grants a specific reduction for MOST crimes. Would not surprise me if there was a fine and perhaps suspended, but NO actual jail time. It depends on what his previous convictions were.

Missed this. It is my understanding that IF the individual gave the video evidence to the police then that evidence is still permitted, as YOU would verify what actually happened. Unlike the USA where it would be 'Fruit of the poisonous tree'. The individual recants everything and anything obtained from that individual is removed.

Fruit of the poisonous tree is often used when the police gathered evidence illegally. In that case all the evidence obtained illegally is thrown out, even if is subsequently discovered through another means. Illegal search discovers a murder weapon means that the court case cannot use the murder weapon as evidence. It could also mean that surveillance of a suspect becuase you knew about the murder weapon would also be illegal etc etc.

Best to post any video evidence online and make it public (that is what tends to happen in the USA)..

Thank you @margaret.s , i think it might have something to do with that he wanted it just to go to the youth offending team but we said NO as he has denied it and we want it to go to court, he already has two other minor offences against him for damaging peoples properties and the youth offending team dealt with him, he has also been expelled from school, no we want it going to court,

@harryflatters Oh thank you @harryflatters , that is just what i thought too when he told us that. He is 15 years old and has already had two minor offences he has been charged with in the past so the parents are not doing a very good job are they, I mean he leaves school this year and who will want to employ a nasty bad tempered foul mouthed youth like that ?

Also they have been caught on CCTV too by the wood cutters who store all their cutting goods in the garages and it has 24 surveillance,

We have already done that with the Police but he now wants us to make a victim statement for the courts and how it has effected us both @Tanith , they took the statement on the day it happened, the Police were here for over 3 hours

@Happygirl Well then, the first order of today is - To wish you a very Happy Birthday. With regards to becoming my neighbour, dear Kath passed away last month and next door is no empty and going up for sale. Other near neighbours, including me, are wishing and hoping that we get decent people moving in. In our immediate neighbourhood, there are no families with small children only golden oldies and a lot of cats and dogs.

We also have two schools in very close proximity to our houses and the park. Upon the hill near the park is the Brays School for children with learning difficulties and along our Lane, we have the Tile Cross Academy. The little hooligans from the academy have the nasty habit of shoving their empty bottles, cans and snack packets in our hedges on their way to the bus stop.

I have not long come back from having had my second jab and guess what, as I opened the curtains this morning, it was snowing and thought, oh bu**er not again. That was how it was last time.

ANYWAY, @Happygirl , HAVE A LOVELY BIRTHDAY!!

It has been awful @Pinkaholic79 💖🦄🌺 @nabob , the window is still boarded up as the council are taking ages, 18 years i have been happy here in our 2 bedroom semi detached bungalow but not now, they have ruined it all for us. We will be looking at maybe somewhere where they have an on ground warden with no garden to look after as i cannot do it and hubby has ailments too. @renatew5😺🐶

You can only do what's best for you both [@Happygirl], just make sure that there's at least a communal garden to sit for some fresh air, if you go ahead with this decision.

@Pinkaholic79 💖🦄🌺 Yes,thank you Pinky, it wont be at least until next year, you know the council offered us a two bed house one street away, they have no sense at all, as it says on my notes i was given this bungalow as i couldn't do the stairs and WHO in their right mind would want to give that up for a house one street away,no when we leave we will be leaving far far away

@margaret.s , a family at the back of us heard the shouting and swearing and videoed them and also called 999 too, BUT now we will be moving next year somewhere quieter with a smaller garden as the home does not feel safe now. @Pinkaholic79 💖🦄🌺 @nabob @renatew5😺🐶 and the back garden though was lovely to sit in, in the Summer then i wont be this year as this time it has really effected my nerves @roz this was the 2nd time we have had trouble with them and their friends

That's excellent news @Happygirl at least they got one and I wouldn't be surprised if they don't, now, round the rest of them up. I am certain this will make it a good deal 'quieter' around your area, which is great for you.

Must be very hard @Happygirl, but please don't let it get to you both. Watch something nice on TV, listen to music, BAKE some yummy cupcakes for Easter. It will get sorted, and surely police can knock on their door, someone in the neighbourhood will know where they live! We're here anytime you fancy a chat. 😘

I feel for you @Happygirl . I've been in a similar situation myself, it's not pleasant.

I don't know the answer to this one, I don't think there is an answer.

When this sort of thing happened to us John used to make me go round to the parents houses if I knew who it was, I was more scared of John than the parents so I went. of course it didn't change much anyway. It probably made matters worse because then I became "the grass"

The police need to put extra patrols around that area but they probably haven't got the resources nowadays.I

I do hope it was just a one-off and that you can get life back to normal.
