We have had more trouble again from some youths, one was a friend of the other one and on Sunday i was cowering in the hall screaming as our lovely home was bombarded for 20 minutes with rocks leaving us with a smashed kitchen window.
The Police were elsewhere and it took ages for them to arrive.
We have great big chunks taken out of all the brick work at the back and my husband was chased and threatened with violence this time.He did manage to take two very good pictures of them though.
We have made statements and handed over the pictures. Also a neibour out the back took some video too.
I cannot stop shaking though and it has hit my mental health awfully.
My home is not safe anymore, i have lived here for over 18 years very happily and now i am not safe.
For over 18 years i have been writing to the council who own the garages which partition all one side of our garden about the youths congregating and vandalizing our property by climbing up on the garage roofs, nothing has been done.
I feel frightened and my home just does not feel safe anymore. It has hit my mental health very hard indeed.

I agree with Tanith and Pinkaholic don't let him spoil your life.
Pretty much what @Tanith said, as you don't have a smart phone, just take a picture on your camera. It's hard [@Happygirl] but try to relax a little. The lad won't change just like that, he'll do more damage before he learns a proper lesson. Now it's important you take care of yourself, hubby and kitty.
WHAT THE YOUNG THUG GOT IN THE COURT.

Well all he got was this.....
3 month youth programme, him being 16 years old and a fine of £220, which of course his 'Daddy' will no doubt pay like he paid for the expensive solicitor too!
They said the usual things like how he is a changed young lad now etc etc but at least it will go on his record with the other two offences he had already concurred, it is just that i feel like WE SUFFERED THE MOST out of all of this and i am scared now at the slightest of noises and my nerves have been truly shattered over this, apparently though when they read out Hubby's victim statement then the Dad put his head in his hands and bowed his head, or maybe he was acting, i don't know or care.
By the way, we have also seen this young mans face book page and he is dressed like those isi s people totally covered in black, smoking a joint and in another one he is holding an awful looking blade with curves in it too, but they say he has changed, I DO NOT.
So pleased for you @Happygirl very brave of you both to go through with all this but what a good result. Sadly, only a slap on wrist will probably follow but it might just make them think again!!
Hope it goes well [@Happygirl] shame she's pulled out, couldn't she do it anonymously?
I hope that they can take into account that there was evidence. Hope your day is not too traumatic. X
It goes to court today, wish us both luck please, the lady who took video evidence of them smashing our windows and also rang 999 has withdrawn her evidence due to being worried about reprisals and so WE ARE ON OUR OWN OVER THIS!
I am hopping mad over this and very sad.

Can they not be made to show this evidence as without then i doubt if we shall win the court case ?
What a lovely idea @Happygirl 😀
Good for you @Happygirl I know it won't be easy for you reliving it, but these kids are a menace and will keep on doing whatever they like if they're not stopped. Hopefully a court appearance will make them think twice before terrorising anybody else. 😊
@Happygirl fingers crossed that it goes well. They certainly seem to be on top of it.😊
Things are happening again, The Policeman is coming round this Sunday for more statements, will let you all know more after he has been
@nabob @Pinkaholic79 💖🦄🌺 @margaret.s @roz @Janet 💋🍰🍝🍹 @harryflatters @Janet 💋🍰🍝🍹 @Tanith
That's awful, "out somewhere?" and "known to the police" and still allowed out causing s**t? Needs looking up and put on a job thingy and learn some manners @Happygirl, at least they're keeping you updated.
Oh my @Happygirl I have only just seen this, what a terrible thing for you both to have this happen to you. I hope it gets sorted soon. I can only imagine what you are going through. Sending much love and hugs to you both x
That's good at least they're keeping on top of it and keeping you updated.😊
UPDATE.........
Just had a telephone call and the Police have gone round today and spoken to the lads Mother and Father, The lad was out somewhere, he is 15 and known to the Police and is being formally interviewed on Sunday night at the Police Station.

Yes thats right @Pinkaholic79 💖🦄🌺 and yes @roz we feel we have to move now next year
Lots of proof, that's good [@Happygirl]
[@Happygirl] I'm sure the outcome will be good and that they if you still want to move you will find somewhere suited to your needs.
Good news that at least one has been caught. Hope they get the others too. Xx
That's silly [@Happygirl], how far do you want to go?
What you need to do is prepare a 'witness statement'. It may never be needed, but it is always useful to have one written. It can be added to as your feelings change. Write an A4 page stating what happened and how it affected you. It could have an effect on the sentence given.
In addition you may wish to give it to the police for them to use.
Disgraceful, truly worrying that this is the future generation. Many hugs coming your way right now! @Happygirl
Let us hope the culprit and possibly his parents will be made to pay for the damages he caused to your home. The judge when sentencing has the power to award costs for damages caused. I hope it turns out well for you both. Could you not ask for a transfer of accommodation if your home is rented, otherwise perhaps a sale and move on. That of cause is one almighty wrench. I am rooting for you both and keep my fingers and toes crossed that everything turns out well. @Happygirl
Blimey, [@Happygirl] I don't know how I missed this but what an awful thing to happen to you both. I can only send you positive vibes and kind thoughts to help you recover from this trauma. xx Good that the police have got at least one of them now. Take care. I am a big believer of what goes around comes around.
That's great news [@Happygirl], it's a good start, I'm sure the others will be caught too.
Oh I'm so pleased to hear that and I hope they get the rest of them. Hope it makes you feel better, it hasn't really took them long to catch him 😊
Just had an email from the Police, they have caught one of the youths and in time it will be going to court @nabob @Pinkaholic79 💖🦄🌺 @Flossy 🧁🧁🧁 @Janet 💋🍰🍝🍹 @harryflatters @Tanith @homebaker @Bill Obermeyer @roz @margaret.s @renatew5😺🐶 , we do not know if we shall be needed for an ID parade as yet, not us but the youths and us picking them out.
I'll be thinking of you both, and as @Pinkaholic79 says try not to let them spoil it for you. You must know that you can come here to let out your anger and concerns. 😊 we can't do much but we can listen.
This happens to the nicest people @Happygirl I hope they catch 'em and you get some resolution to this awful thing.
Thank you very much indeed @harryflatters @roz @margaret.s @Pinkaholic79 💖🦄🌺 @Flossy 🧁🧁🧁 .
There is a look out for two of them and Hubby will do an identity parade when and if they are caught.
We are also doing a victim statement and they want to do that as soon as possible saying how it is effecting us both.
I had to watch my poor husband shaking yesterday, he wouldn't admit it bless him but he was like a quivering jelly fish.
We both cannot take any more, we have had enough.
Sorry i am not on as much but i am still here doing the covid forum and daily figures etc
THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR KINDNESS ♥
HOW CAN TWO YOUNG THUGS MAKE US FEEL SO AFRAID NOW IN OUR OWN HOME ?
I keep on hearing the 20 minute bombardment of bricks and smashing glass in my head with myself cowering on the floor screaming at the top of my voice whilst Hubby was on the phone with the 999 operator. IT WONT GO AWAY.
So sorry to hear what's happened @Happygirl I can but hope the Police get them. I do hope you will both feel a bit easier soon.
Oh @Happygirl absolutely horrified to hear of your nightmare. Don't let the little B******s win - you and your hubby are both very strong when you have to be. You have each other for support. I hope the police catch them and prosecute and make them pay damages. Sounds like they are very local to know so much about you.
As @Pinkaholic79 💖🦄🌺 says it is normal to feel frightened but do not let it stop you enjoying life. Get in touch with your local MP and make him aware of the problem - elections are coming up very soon so he may listen.
I am sure your hubby is proud of his origins and won't let a few foul mouthed yobs scare him. Don't encourage him to retaliate - if he does he will get all the blame. Let the police and authorities do their jobs.
Many years ago we had a group of yobbos throwing eggs at the front of our house - absolutely no idea why. It was very scary at the time and one or two eggs hit the windows and I thought they would break. I phoned the police and they came out next day. Nothing ever came of it but it did make us a bit frightened at the time. We soon got over it and the rain washed off the eggs. Why they threw fresh eggs I don't know - what was wrong with stale ones or rotten tomatoes?
Get out in the sun and enjoy your beautiful garden - don't let them win.
Hope your window has been repaired.
That's awful @Happygirl, what horrible kids. Are they picking on you or the neighbourhood? Hope the police gets them, surely enough evidence to sort something out. Give them (however it's called) a job to pay for the actions. Parents should pay for the damages to the property. You (as hard as it sounds) think positively. Its normal to be frightened but it must not stop you from enjoying your life. It will get sorted! Sending hugs to you both, hope your hubby is ok now.
Oh @Happygirl I don't know what to say, how awful.I can understand you being frightened out of your wits. Damage to property can be repaired but why should you have to put up with it. I hope the police get the little so and so's, but it's hard to know how to stop future occurrences. I hope you're feeling a bit calmer now. Have you managed to have your window fixed. How is your husband coping. It must be awful for him. I hope the council takes notice of your complaints now. I'm so sorry that I can't do anything to help but my thoughts and prayers are with you both.
I don't know what to do anymore, i cannot sleep i cannot eat, i am just very scared. Your home is the one place where you should feel safe !
We have had trouble on / off for years with children and youths on the garages but nothing on this scale before, and the are calling my husband a f..king American C..t.
