That's another of the films I would like to see @nabob although I don't think it would be one swmbo would particularly enjoy.

The 'Turing Test' had two separate chambers. In one was a human. In the other was either a human or a computer. Both individuals typed questions and answers via a terminal. The 'test' was for the human in the first chamber to identify whether the other chamber was occupied by the human or the computer.

Whilst most computers actually fail the test, surprisingly many human fail it as well.

Eliza, was a famous test whereby the programme searched the typed statement for key words and asked questions based on that key word.

Many can identify whether a 'chatbot' is actually a computer or not.

@Happygirl Yes it is still happening but not as often and I have noticed the robot box appears when the text send is rather longer than six/eight lines. I have not been on the forum for the past two days and was surprised that I did not have to sign in and yes, I too can not be bothered with the personal settings. Alright if you know what you are doing, I don't, so I leave well alone. I have never been very technical minded and at my age, anything new takes a while to sink in and stay in the box, if you know what I mean.

@renatew5😺🐶 I am with you on that score too, so i will not be on here today as i am fed up with it and wasn't on much either yesterday, they can keep their robots and if it keeps happening then i just wont come on here @Flossy 🧁🧁🧁

@Happygirl That's true, so far it has happened twice today on this site, always when I am clicking on the publish button. I wonder if it will do it now, here goes.

@theotherflossy I am glad to hear that Rob is OK. I am aware that Rob has a rather complicated type of diabetes. Even I felt a bit weird yesterday, got giddy/light headed every time I got up from a chair or walking up the stairs and my glucose levels were rather the other side of low and I was good and did not eat naughties, not even ice-cream.

John looked all white from the chest down on his working clothes. He had picked up a damaged box of powdered tapioca and on the way home he went into our new Chinese

Take-away the 'Dora Pan' and after being questioned, he mentioned that he works at the Wing Yip warehouse and because he looked all hot and bothered the young lady offered him some water but he declined and mentioning that we live just around the corner. Well, it was a surprise, which I thoroughly enjoyed, we had special fried rice and chicken with bamboo shoots & water chestnuts and a large portion of spare ribs, dry with lemon. John had Patty in mind. I just stripped the meat of the ribs for her. The lady even added a bag with some (5) mini spring rolls and a bag of prawn crackers- I adore those.

I hope you are both doing well, the temperature here in the living room is at present 24.5 degrees. The curtains are closed but the windows open and there is a lovely breeze blowing through.

@theotherflossy Is Rob OK? Does he do this often? Hope all is well....x

@duchess Thanks - he's ok again now. Brittle diabetes for the past 37 years. Very difficult to manage - only goes out if I am with him. He does not drive and so depends on me and car - when he is ill we need to get back asap for him to test and either eat or jab.

@renatew5😺🐶 I know it is a right pain, every time now, and i bet it does it on here now again, what i do not understand is WHY start doing this, we all know who we are and it is a closed group, I wonder if @theotherflossy can get rid of it for us?

@Happygirl Actually, I just had a nasty thought and wonder if there is a 'Big Brother Watch' under foot because of the different pandemic/covid information we are sharing and discussing. In these not so haha funny times nothing would surprise me. Should it be the case, it is rather rich. What ever happened to free speech and freedom of information. This bl**dy box even appeared on my answer to little Dinky's blog last night.
