Just a small update, Dinky has started karate lessons. This is the first one in his GI. So big on him. He really is enjoying it, he goes twice a week.

Just a small update, Dinky has started karate lessons. This is the first one in his GI. So big on him. He really is enjoying it, he goes twice a week.
Mark enjoyed Karate @Pinkaholic79 ๐๐ฆ๐บ and was good at it. Unfortunately, he went on to do 'full contact' stuff and 'Savate' (French kickboxing) which we didn't like so much!! Although he was good at that too, he still got a lot of nasty bruises, black eyes etc. He eventually 'saw the light' so to speak and went on to do Kendo to a pretty high standard. Although you still got bruised a bit sometimes, the armour helped minimise but headaches were common - that's what comes from being beaten about the (helmeted!) head with a big stick!! I have to say though it's really exciting to watch! We went to see him in a competition in Brussels some years ago - really explosive action but very quick so very difficult for an ordinary person to follow!!
