As we were watching some of the coronation yesterday.... I was thinking of all the people that arrived early to be seated. A silly thought popped into my head. Did they all wear "tenna lady pants" if they got caught short and not able to use a toilet. Ooops.

Hi, did you see the embroidered doggies on Camilla's dress as a nod to Battersea? @Janet ๐๐ฐ๐๐น @Happygirl @harryflatters @Flossy ๐ง๐ง๐ง @duchess
I watched it all. I remember watching the Coronation of Elizabeth II on a very small screen. It was the first time I had even seen a television.
Did you see King Charles huff and puff as the Deacon or whoever he was, was holding the crown and praying over it before he went to place it on Charle's head, you could quite plainly read Charles mind, it was........ oh come on with all this faff i am bored............ @Janet ๐๐ฐ๐๐น @harryflatters @duchess @Pinkaholic79 ๐๐ฆ๐บ @nabob @roz @Flossy ๐ง๐ง๐ง
Anyway....we are a matching set of old persons - she is my age and the K is Chris's, so it's a race to the end, which must be nigh-ish. We've even got an effin flag in the front garden. How very very naff.......grrrrr.............
Exactly my thoughts! Chris went to Buck House last week to do something boringly military and said that Green Park was Loo Central, so perhaps they have them in the church. They must do; it's designed for large gatherings, after all, and people had bladders all those years ago. I am BORED SENSELESS with the coronation. Managed to miss most of it, as Chris had a son and 2 children here, so left them to it. Now there's a bloody concert on, so can't watch Malpractice, which I've insisted on seeing at 10.00. Oh well, Duchess is back and whining, as usual. Nothing changes! ๐ก
