As a matter of interest (marginal at best and only for gin drinkers!!), I used to take 'Fever Tree' tonic with my gin. A while ago, I switched to 'Eden Bay' from Lidl. I thought it was a Lidl brand but it's not. It's produced by the 'Skinny Drinks Company' and is available in other supermarkets. It's half the price of 'Fever Tree' and I can't tell the difference! Mind you my 'palate' is pretty 'shot'!! Much like everything else, when I come to think of it!! Heh Hoe and on we go!!
Thank you for your recommendation, I could never justify the cost of the Fever Tree. I will look out for Eden Bay. @harryflattersWe have a liking for pink gin at the moment with Belvoir rose and elderflower cordial topped up with sparkling water. ( Cheaper too than the mixers)
Sounds refreshing @nabob - 'proper' Pink Gin, as I'm sure you know, is with Angostura Bitters, either 'in' or 'out' - the latter just swirled around the glass and thrown away before the gin, and it must be Plymouth Gin, is liberally poured into the glass!! Cheers!!
Panic over!! It's back this morning - hooray!! Jonathan is driving us down to Marks in Belgium for Christmas so, for good measure, I've added a bottle of Shetland Reel Gin 43% abv to our Christmas Food box to take with us. It's pretty full already! Waiting for Lidl to launch it's range of brandy butters, creams, sauces etc!!
they are all little ones under an inch @nabob , and they glued them with internal stitching inside, I feel great and just put the tree and decorations up, the main one was through the belly button, I would recommend robotic surgery to anyone
Never underestimate the notion of having a full drinks cabinet. It's immensely comforting knowing that you are well stocked up. I hope by now you have replenished your stash. ๐ @harryflatters

Absolutely shocking for you @harryflatters. Just as well we don't drink gin then. ๐

OMG @harryflatters. That is a disaster. I'd better get round there in case the same thing happens to the vodka.
