Oh well, here it goes. Was going to wait a few more days before posting this. On Monday 24th Jan, hubby and I tested positive on LFT. We did 3 each of them and all 3 came back positive. I had no symptoms, well, I had a dry mouth. Hubby had normal flu/cold symptoms, we're both unvax. All in all and this is no lie, to me it made no difference having it, and hubby was not to bad at all and no temperature, just achy and a slight cough . We were far worse in 2009 with swine flu! But we staying in, instead of being naughty and still going out, I was clear by Friday, and hubby still positive this morning, the line is more faint, so on the mend according to Internet. By Friday Dinky ended up positive too, he had a slight headache on the day and snotty nose, no temperature and no symptoms. Us being unvax have to follow the 10 day rule, but lil one is allowed back to school Wednesday if two consecutive LFT are negative within the 24h. I'm presuming that I'm allowed out Wednesday too as on the news it said as from 28th Jan, if two LFT are negative, day 5 and 6, then you a are allowed out. By then I'll have been negative for 5 days. The other thing I did notice and we cheated, was having a microwave chicken tikka, son and I noticed it a bit spicier than usual. So either ingredients were changed or our taste buds improved? I know normally you loose it. But the Friday before catching C19, my friend and I noticed we both could smell and taste better. She didn't get it, yet. If we had, had the jab, we wouldn't heal any quicker, as I'm already clear (within 4/5 days), but hubby isn't. Dinkys Sensei had 10 days off and has had 3 jabs. Wonder what we'll do in March, when they'll do away with the LFT.

We, the Wright Tribe, thought we would escape it but no, all three of us caught the MORONIC Omicron. Steven caught it from his friend who conveniently forgot to inform Steven. He passed it on to me and I passed it on to John. Incubation time is only 2 days max. The only one who stayed clear was Derek my gardener, who was my chauffeur, bearing in mind that it was the week Patty passed away, with several trips to the vet.
None of us three had a temperature, just a runny nose, a slight headache, aching bones and a raspy throat but no loss of smell or taste. We were all-clear after a week. Bearing in mind that only Steven was the one who is the techy boy and both John and I learned to text a lot better on our outdated telecommunicators aka Star Trek's 'Beam me up, Scotty.
Still, it was so far the worst week of 2022. I hope that we are all ok now and I also hope that Janet's daughter and family are ok. @Pinkaholic79 ๐๐ฆ๐บ @Janet ๐๐ฐ๐๐น @roz @harryflatters
