As the outside toilet window needed replacing we a new one put in last week. However it all goes wrong again and having to spend out more money!
When Kyle took the frame off the old one on the in side he found all the wood inside rotten and soaking wet. As it is all breezeblock walls inside...When we had it done up 26 years ago, they put a wood frame on the walls with foam panels in, then plaster boarded it. We had it painted white and it looked nice, bright and clean.
So, that one wall has had the plaster board taken off and the whole wall is so wet, he is having to put a dehhumidifier in to dry out befor he can put new walling in.
Photos so far. ๐ฎ

Lets see if these photos will stay.
It still isn't finished as they have now found where the water is coming from. It is the wood beam underneath the clading on the side of the roof that is rotten and water logged. Kyle is coming back tomorrow to hopefully replace it and then start on the inside walls.
Now we also know why the outside wall has mildew on it. ๐
