Good Friday and Lee, Eirwen and Tracy arrived for the weekend. From the time they arrived until they left on Sunday we didn't stop laughing. It was what we all needed ....
Saturday morning we took a trip to Southsea sea front to the Boating Lake. Eirwen likes going there to see the swans and play area. Her first priority though was to visit the cafรฉ for a ice cream, so us adults just had to have a coffee and cake before walking around. ๐
Then it was off to the zip wire, she loves it and has as many goes as possible before other children come along. After that we had a walk around the lake then a sit down watching the swans and men/boys with their radio controlled boats zooming across the pond, It was a beautiful sunny day much enjoyed. In the early evening we went out for a meal and drinks.
Sunday morning we all swapped Easter eggs, I cooked a roast dinner with a banoffee pie for dessert. Then it was time for them all to travel home around 2pm. And a well earned rest for us old folk ๐ enjoying a bit of chocolate!

wow what a glorious weekend for you all @Janet ๐๐ฐ๐๐น , how old is Eirwen now
