Is everyone outside enjoying their new freedom? I haven't been on here for a few days and it seems that not many others have either.
I know that @Happygirl , @Pinkaholic79 ๐๐ฆ๐บ and @Janet ๐๐ฐ๐๐น are still chatting - but where have the other members gone?
It seems that @harryflatters has sold up and moved - hope you keep us informed of your movements.

The weather seems to be cooling down again so maybe our members will come inside and tell us where they have been?
Even @Flotson hasn't updated his blog for a few days. Mind you - he has certainly put enough up there to make us think - well me at least!
When does summer start? Must stop procrastinating and make some chocolate cakes for Rob - haven't made him any for quite a few weeks now - either too tired or can't be bothered. Perhaps I could time travel into the past and grab some cakes and rush back before Rob knows that I have gone? OK so I know that won't work - will have to try and travel into the future and grab the cakes that I will make today - no that's no good either - I give up will just go into the kitchen and make some.

I've been on here as you know @Flossy ๐ง๐ง๐ง weather was a bit cooler today, so to me feels cold hehe, I like it hot, but not to hot either. I've only been work and back, usual shopping trip. Nothing exciting yet.
Hi @Flossy ๐ง๐ง๐ง I am here every day, its a highlight to "chat" with my fellow members. Sometimes, I just read comments and "like" to acknowledge that I am here.
I have enjoyed a little freedom with relaxing of restrictions, although my foot injury (now over 10 weeks) has somewhat limited my movements. I am going back to the physio on Friday.
Last week the highlight was to visit my friends house and I met up with three of my golfing buddies. We took our own food and drinks and sat on the patio, luckily in the sunshine!
Mr nabob and I have also spent some time in the garden, making good the ponds plumbing and tidying around. TBH I supervised! Also been to the skip with a pile of stuff out of the garage....
Today we went to Batsford Arboretum and I managed a short flattish walk and then on the way back we had planned a detour to visit Father in law.
@renatew5๐บ๐ถ @Happygirl @roz @margaret.s @harryflatters @Pinkaholic79 ๐๐ฆ๐บ and anyone else.... x
I haven't noticed it has been quiet at all @Flossy ๐ง๐ง๐ง , many of us are just pottering about like usual, and of course the weather has been better and so many will be pottering in the garden planting things and just enjoying the weather i reckon, i do hope @harryflatters move is going okay,i really do miss him.
Kieran has been staying with us over the holidays, he's back with his dad and at school now, it's too quiet without him.
We get our second jab this afternoon.
Vinny is going for a groom and haircut on friday. He is supposed to be a Patterdale terrier but I think we were sold a poodle.
I am just getting back to some sort of normality and this afternoon I am getting rid of the 'lockdown shaggy look', my appointment is at 4.15 pm at the hairdressers. The appointments for both the hairdresser and nail salon was fairly quick and easy but to get an appointment for Patty dog is another matter.
She has not seen the vet since 8/05/19 and next month it will be 2 years. The surgery I used to use had been amalgamated with nine others to make one big outfit with branches all over the place but closed the one nearest and easy to get to. During this pandemic, all of them only seen emergencies and other vets would not take on new clients.
Monday my luck seemed to have changed, I found a Vet Surgery who took on Patty, partly because of an emergency. She had a lump on her neck towards her left shoulder. Anyway it grew and popped and you can only do so much first aid, it needs to be seen by a vet. So with the request of re-vaccination, they took Patty under their wings with an appointment this Friday afternoon. No 1 dilemma sorted and to no 2 dilemma, how do I get there - public transport 2 buses and Patty does not like it. My friend has not got a car anymore, Taxi - a no-no, they do not take dogs unless they are guide dogs. So, last resort I ask my gardener who was here this morning and he tells that his daughter is a fully qualified and insured dog trainer/carer and also runs a pet taxi service. Lorraine is visiting with her dad in the morning so she can meet Patty. Problem solved and for the first time in days, I feel at ease again. Yes, even I get dull and gloomy days. @Flossy ๐ง๐ง๐ง
@Happygirl I have even put up the St George flag because of our Queen's birthday.
Hi Margaret, thanks for replying - it's nice to know that I am not all alone.
Glad that you have had your second jabs - sorry you are not feeling well - hope the effects wear off quickly. I am having my second jab on Sunday and Rob has his second in a couple of weeks. Will be glad to get out and shopping again. Just had my final delivery - Asda. Even they have only sent half of what I ordered.
No eggs so no cake again. Will go to Lidl tomorrow - first time in nearly 18 months!. Have a rest and enjoy the afternoon.
Weather still nice here @Flossy ๐ง๐ง๐ง I'm having a quiet day, had second jab last night and have a very sore and stiff arm today and generally feeling a bit off. Hubby also has sore and stiff arm but no others symptoms yet. Hope you get your cakes made. ๐
