I received an invitation from the Carers group I am registered with to attend an event this Friday. They haven't given much information about it apart from how to get a feeling what it is like to have dementia.
Here is the invitation.

If I am accepted after filing in the medical form then I will report back about the experience.

I'm pretty sure it's a VR thing @Janet 💋🍰🍝🍹 anyone who used a vr headset will know you have to be steady on your feet and I'm wondering why else they would ask. It all sounds exciting.
That's interesting @Janet 💋🍰🍝🍹 if you are accepted do let us know how you get on. I do hope you won't have an experience like @Tanith describes!! 😍
What will actually happen is that when you arrive you will be told that you are at the wrong location. You will be sent to another facility 2 miles away. When you arrive there, you will be told that the time is wrong and you need to wait 1 hour. Then you will be told that it was yesterday. After those TWO hours, you will get a signed certificate stating that 'You know how to live with dementia'.
Most likely some people doing sketches portraying what it is like to have dementia @Janet 💋🍰🍝🍹
That sounds interesting @Janet 💋🍰🍝🍹 yes please, let us know what happens. Sounds like some virtual reality device that gives you an idea what it feels like.
Imteresting, so you have to pretend to have dementia? Or try and see what it's like to have it? Please keep me updated with this, I'd like to know more if you do attend @Janet 💋🍰🍝🍹 .
