Iceland has opened a new convenience store - with plans to open more over the next few months.
The new shop concept, called Iceland Local, is located on a Texaco garage forecourt in Fallings Park, Wolverhampton and opened on March 31.
The site also features a Costcutter and is operated by SGN Retail.
The majority of the chilled and ambient products are supplied by Costcutter but there is also a frozen section with Iceland goods.
Iceland products you’ll find in stores include its own-label range and items from its partnerships with Slimming World and Harry Ramsden’s.
Iceland international and wholesale director Justin Addison said: “Iceland Local will make our unique range of frozen, chilled, fresh and grocery products available to customers in a completely new type of location, complementing our 1,000 company-owned Iceland and The Food Warehouse stores on the nation’s high streets and retail parks.
“Iceland Local gives customers an exciting new opportunity to pick up our food while they are refuelling, and we already have plans to roll out the concept with further openings in the months ahead.”

While is great for you to have a little Iceland nearby, the prices are high too, so many things have gone up. Use to buy hash waffles, 9 in a box for £1.50. Now £2.00, I won't get them anymore.
I think that is ACE, as we do not have one near us and it would be great if they could put one here
