I've been naughty and have sneaked out while no-one was looking. Not outside into the real world. I have crept quietly into ... The Lidlers GB on Facebook.
I was surprised to see a few familiar faces but didn't stop to chat . They seem to have a lot of members and are interacting with each other very well.
I shan't be making a regular trip as I still don't want to use Facebook. It's a shame that we lost so many friends - but I think we have a nice friendly group on here.
Hope will be able to go out in the sunshine soon - instead of taking the vitamin B's - and go into a real Lidl shop and browse around. Oh well, maybe 2022 or 2023.

I miss my local Lidl too [@Happygirl] I get a delivery from Iceland now and then to keep my mini supermarket topped up!!๐๐ I am on the FB Lidl but it's nowhere near as cosy as our @Flossy's WiX'y corner! ๐ค
@harryflatters oooh I really must look later. Might join in - we never have heated arguments on here thankfully. Unless of course I have been left out. ๐๐๐
I should also say that I still use messenger to chat with family and friends. I even send the odd message to Rob who is just in another room to ask for a cup of tea or coffee.
I've got no problem with anyone going on Lidl Facebook as long as you all stay on here and chat.
WhatsApp is good for free msgs and calls too.
I've only just started interacting on The Lidlers GB on FB @Flossy ๐ง๐ง๐๐. Not on a regular basis, and I'm afraid you won't loose me on here, hehe ๐
You obviously missed a quite heated debate going on about couples going shopping together in Lidl @Flossy ๐ง๐ง๐๐ it was quite nasty. @harryflatters @roz
The only thing i miss @Flossy ๐ง๐ง๐๐ is the REAL Lidls in our village
@harryflatters I agree the Facebook "messenger" is great. saves me a fortune in texts to my daughter who seems to only communicate this way.
Several of us are on both of course @Flossy ๐ง๐ง๐๐ tbh, I find the Lidl FB site pretty boring! There is rarely any decent chit chat and an awful lot of moaning goes on!! The only good thing on it is the 'messenger' facility so I can use to 'talk' to my sons, particularly Mark in Belgium. He also surprised me with a video call this morning which I didn't even know existed on there!! And it's all free of course!
