I am very resolute and make the same resolution every new year - not to make any!! As to dieting it's simple - eat anything and everything that you like but just a lot less of it!! And no alcohol ! Needless to say, I fail on both counts!! A small plate helps to fool your brain that you have a nice big meal!
Remember, you are NEVER overweight, just UNDER height. You would have the perfect weight if you were 7 foot 3. There are always several ways of looking at a problem. AND multiple amswers to that issue.
That's so true about plates @roz ,im sure the ones in Italy are smaller ๐คฃ. Oh @harryflatters I only have a treat drink weekends. Well normally, had a couple extra last few weeks, but hey ho, it's festive season ๐
I had an app that I had to add my calorie intake, pretty good one, some scanned and some manually added. I linked it to my fit app and it showed my intake, and calorie loss. Didn't relay on it but it helped. Was doing well, but lost mojo just before Christmas. Will pick it up again. Unfortunately have a sweet tooth, so little treats ๐.
DIET = 'Do I Eat Tomorrow'.
Healthy Eating; YES. BUT allow yourself treats. I like chocolate. We sometimes have Lidl/Aldi snickers bars. One bar between two people maybe once every week or two. Christmas puddings; we have just finished the one we had for Christmas. Do not eat every day, but occasionally. Then they become desirable. Mince pies (got some from Aldi after Christmas) are lovely as a treat. Cheese - cannot resist. BUT with really strong roquefort and stilton, some crackers and celery/cherry tomatoes and watercress to finish a meal the number of calories are quite low. With port; oh dear!
Since I like sums, I use this. More calories in than exercise taken indicates weight increase. More exercise than calories in, weight loss. Yes have that treat, but then go for an additional walk. And all exercise is good; walking up and down stairs, ironing (that is really good), cleaning (exceptional), walking to the postbox rather than sending an e-mail. Digging the garden is very good AND you get the benefits of all your home grown foodstuffs.
No resolutions for me. @Happygirl The last time was 1985
Well, my resolution for 2019 was to eat an apple a day. 2020 was to eat Two apples a day. Which I have mainly done. But I will draw the line there. ๐๐๐
I used to too [@Happygirl] then it didn't work, so I changed the date, that didn't work either, so it meant I wasn't determined enough. I'm not fat but just want to tone up and loose a little weight, but have no mojo, I like my food ๐คฃ๐
No we never do. There are things we want to do; but few things that we need to do.
Why make a resolution just because of a date change. If you need to do something just do it, otherwise live life to the full.
I know when i was younger then i would always make at least one , however never stuck to them, but this year i really do want to lose some weight, as being 4 ft 11 inches and on /off steroids for much of the year then i really do need to.
ANY GOOD DIETS ANY ONE ?
If so it would be very much appreciated if you could maybe jot them down here for me
Thank you very much indeed.
