Father and daughter.

Last week my son Lee joined the same Tai Kwando group as Eirwen. Many years ago he was in a Karate group and a black Dan along with Dennis when we lived in Wales. They also ran a childrens Karate group for under 16 year olds.

Lee has wanted to get back into it for awhile but work didn't allow it . Now he has a new job that gives him more time.

Here is a photo of father and a proud daughter to have her dad training with her. He was given his first certificate.

How nice is that @Janet 💋🍰🍝🍹 - wonderful! A great photo and they both look so happy. So pleased Lee's new job gives him more time. More than money really, that's such a precious commodity!

At the moment Lee is working from 5am - 3pm for three months to get used to the job, plus overtime if he wants it. Yesterday for overtime he started 5am - 6pm and did 19,769 steps, phew. I think in 2 weeks time he starts shift work... 4 days on 4 days off. @harryflatters @roz

Just reading that @Janet 💋🍰🍝🍹 and I was tired out!! A little while ago, Jonathan used to work 0600-1800 hrs., '4 on/4 off'. He rather liked it. His firm stopped it a while ago and he's now been working 'normal' hours Mon/Fri. Funnily enough, they are reintroducing '4 on/ 4 off' at the end of June but only for a relatively short period to try and catch up with one particular job that has run well over time when it should have been completed. I do hope Lee finds his new job suits him and that he enjoys it.
