I just wondered if any of you members watch the show on channel 4 on Friday evenings called GOGGLEBOX ?
I think it is hilarious and I just know that no matter if i have had a rotten day then I will always end up laughing at something on there.
If you do, then who are your favorites ? or maybe who drives you bonkers ha haaaaa ?
Here are a few pictures of some of them.

@nabob @Pinkaholic79 ๐๐ฆ๐บ @Paul - MenCanCleanToo @Bill Obermeyer @andym.aat @Janet ๐๐ฐ๐๐น @Flotson @harryflatters @Tanith @homebaker @margaret.s @roz @Rustyfrog @Flossy ๐ง๐ง๐ง๐ง @renatew5๐บ๐ถ and any one else interested
@Happygirl Mr nabob and I absolutely love Gogglebox. ๐ ๐บ I am glad it is back on tv after a break.
Like you say, it is so funny! I challenge anyone to watch an episode and not laugh out loud!!! But we are all different!
Our favourites are The Malones and Giles and Mary and Pete and his sister.
Mr nabob loves Paige and Sally with their Birmingham humour as he's from Brum!
You feel that you get to know the families.
Also, it is good to see what other people are watching as a lot of the time you can miss stuff coz you did not know it was on!
Yes, Pete was taking the micky out of her new florist gloves, they did seem a bit big and cumbersome. Good luck to her I say. @Happygirl
Trust me @nabob I won't laugh at it, I don't even laugh at comedians! I watched one live when on the cruise, he was from Manchester and apparently quite good. Mum in law and hubby were in stitches, I just sat there! I nearly laughed for the fact I wasn't laughing at him ๐คฃ, luckly we were hidden, and he didn't spot me. I will record one [@Happygirl] that way I can fast forward through the adverts.
[@Happygirl] Mary and Marina are the ladies. Do you remember June and Leon from Liverpool? He was a character. And also Dom and Steph, always enjoying their cocktails.
I watched it once for about ten minutes when it first started. Judging by the photos, rather an absolute gormless lot and not very intelligent looking. Only the two Rottweilers looked clever enough to show a puzzled expression.
Like @Tanith I rather watch the news and a good documentary.
Just a dumb looking overweight lot of couch potatoes. It should be banned, in my opinion. What's wrong with Doc Martin instead of gogglebox. That is an intelligent comedy/drama and it is filmed in Cornwall with British actors. It is at present repeated on ITV3 on Friday evenings from 8.00 pm. @Happygirl @Janet ๐๐ฐ๐๐น @nabob @roz The poor chaps mishaps have me chuckling.
Never seen it @Happygirl or even thought of watching it. I may now just record one episode to see what it is all about.
I don't watch it @Happygirl couldn't see John watching anything like that but I like a good laugh. What channel is it on? I might watch it on cat h up while he's in bed.
No I don't watch it in fact I don't watch much telly these days due to my cataract getting worse. Hubby watches sport and news mostly. ๐
NO! Only watch the news, if I have time (and listen to music if I don't).
I don't watch it [@Happygirl], well flicked through it once and found it a bit fake.
I just saw this about how much they get paid and about the food that we see on their tables.
As well as getting free takeaways to tuck into while watching TV, Gogglebox stars are paid ยฃ1,500 a month.
Gogglebox creator Stephen Lambert has revealed that they DIDN'T have anyone audition to be on Gogglebox; in fact, they had to persuade the majority of their families to be on the show.
"Everybody on Gogglebox has been found and persuaded to be on the show and I think that's the key to why they are likeable and why the show works, because we get to know these people," he explained to Radio Times.
"We've never advertised for people on Gogglebox.".
The majority of filming is planned around the people you see in the show, as a lot of them have full-time jobs and families to look after.
They usually are expected to do at least eight hours of filming - split across two days.
I just can't pick ONE favorite you know, as they all make me giggle in one way or another, I only started watching this when I was staying Friday nights at a friends home and they were into it. Now,i am addicted ha haaaaaaaa
