During June there is a "Carers week" where events are going on to give us a little break. This time I am going on the canal trip in the attached photo. Really looking forward to it as missed out last year. A friend who attends our local monthly carers group is going so is giving me a lift as I don't drive.

How wonderful @Janet 💋🍰🍝🍹 - not done the Basingstoke Canal but enjoyed several narrow boat trips 'back in the day'. You will have a wonderful time I am sure although if you have to get involved in the locking process, it may not be as relaxing as you might think!! Great fun though! The last canal boat trip we did, we still had our wonderful Jack Russell 'Baxter' - that was a bit of a challenge because he was determined to try and get one of the many ducks we encountered!!
