I'm hoping I might be lucky today and get one of these from Lidl. Apart from being inexpensive (£29.99), it's small. Our kitchen is very small and doesn't have much worktop space so, size wise, it would be ideal for us. Does anyone have any experience of these? Any tips or advice much appreciated.

Done a bit more research. As you good ladies said, it's basically a mini fan oven! Fatty stuff can cause a bit of smoking apparently. Some water in the fry pan helps reduce it or, alternatively, a piece of bread to soak it up!! We might find out later as swmbo is cooking chicken legs, which can produce a fair bit of grease. She is going to take the skin off though!
Thanks for your comments @roz @Happygirl - just got back and they had quite a few, so I got one! swmbo is already poring over the instruction leaflet!! I will let you know how we get on. Yes @Pinkaholic79 💖🦄🌺 we like our slow cooker too. We also have a Lidl 'contact' grill, which we used to use quite a bit. Since moving here, however, it hasn't made it's way out of the large storage cabinet on our side balcony!! Likewise the Lidl mini oven!!
@harryflatters that's great value. I have an air fryer oven and a conventional air fryer. They cook brilliantly, anything you can fit in that would normally go in the oven or fryer can be cooked in one of these. Lidl are great for taking things back if you find they are not suitable so nothing lost if you don't like it.
oooh @harryflatters , they are brilliant, my son brought us one and it saves the cooking time in the oven by half, a must have in these days of rising prices, let us know how you get on with it if you manage to get one and if you need any advice I can also help you with that one
Nope, never owned one harryflatters and although been tempted, I don't think I'd use it much, our kitchen is not very big either, so not much worktop. A friend of mine has a small one, and barely use it. I like my slow cooker and George Foreman.
