Here is I think the chorus:- I'm busy doing nothing, working the whole through
trying to find lots of things not to do.
I'm busy going nowhere, isn't it just a crime?
I like to be unhappy but I really don't have the time. la la lalala...
It is from a film but I cannot remember it. Must have been from a long, long time ago.
Any Answers Everyone?

I wish my brain would operate instead of standing still, it's all so complicated. The thread of my own thoughts is disappearing to what seems to be a logical conclusion, I guess I've run out of ideas. I've heard a million songs about this and that and it gave me satisfaction.
But I see ......, it's a beautiful life.
Now comes the second verse and I have to at least keep the measure straight It's been a long time and I'm really insecure about it all, I guess I didn't like seeing the things I saw. Who needs it? It's been a little painful, and I hope I don't like pain, 'cause I'd hate to think of myself like that.
'Cause I see ........, it's a beautiful life.

@harryflatters yes I was speaking to my granddaughter( checking on her and her hubby) and she said she thought it had been used in a couple of Disney films.😊
I think it's been featured in other films as well.
@renatew5 I'm pleased that it's been sorted because I've been wracking my brain, I was also only aged 2 when the film was made. 😊
I asked my son John about it and he thought it very funny, Don't worry mum, I look it up on YouTube and if it comes from a film, they even give me the choice to watch the whole film. Guess what, he did and the "ditty" is from an old film which starred Bing Crosby - " An Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court" 1949. There were actually three chaps singing it, the other two were William Bendix and Cedrick Hardwick. I was only two years old at the time.
It took John just five minutes to come up with the result. @roz @harryflatters @margaret.s.
@renatew5 I sing this in the kitchen nearly every day, I always sing to myself in the kitchen, the other one I often sing is bye bye blackbird.
I seem to remember it was more than one singer, not just bing
@renatew5 @harryflatters I'm thinking it was someone like Bing Crosby that sang it but not sure which film it was from.
I find it annoying when you get an 'earworm' and can't get a song out of your head @renatew5 I'm not sure which film your song came from either but remember the song well. Might have been something like 'May Poppins'? Do let us know when you remember.
